He also serves as President and CEO of INROADS, Inc., an international career and leadership development organization for talented minority youth.
Mr. Story was appointed to this role in January 1993.
Prior to his appointment as President & CEO, he was Executive Vice President of Operations. He has also served INROADS as a Regional Director
and a Vice President. Mr. Story originally joined the INROADS organization in 1978 as the first Managing Director of the Nashville affiliate.
In 1987, Mr. Story served as Assistant Commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. From 1989-1991, he served as a
Vice President with First American National Bank in Nashville, Tennessee. |

Mr. Story graduated summa cum laude from Fisk University with a dual major in
Psychology and Management. He completed his Master's degree in Public Administration in a joint program at the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University.
His community involvement has included Goodwill Industries, Middle Tennessee State UniversityÕs Business School Advisory
Board, and the Center for Non-Profit Management. An alumnus of Leadership Nashville and Leadership St. Louis, Charles is a member of the governing boards of
Briggs ∧ Stratton Corporation and ChoicePoint, Inc. He also serves on the advisory board of AmSouth Bank in Nashville, Tennessee.
